Editorial policy
Every page on eneloop.sbs is written by the editors of this guide. Here is how a figure gets onto a page.
Figures about the batteries
Capacity, rated cycles and the charge a cell keeps in storage come from the text printed with each pack and from Panasonic’s published specifications, one model at a time. Panasonic revised its labels, so a few packs still state an older figure; where a pack says something different, its own row says so. Price per cell is the pack price divided by the number of cells, worked out at each catalog update.
Charge times are the approximate times Panasonic gives for four AA cells. Run times in a camera, a controller or a toy depend on the device, and we do not print them as our own measurements.
Photographs show the products as they are sold. Pictures with slogans, arrows or figures printed over them stay off the product rows.
What we do not claim
We do not speak for Panasonic. We do not promise that a cell will reach its rated cycle count in your device or that a charger is safe to leave unattended. Where a page talks about charging, flying with or recycling batteries, it names the source, and the source is linked from our guides.
