Starting from nothing
A charger and its first set of cells in one box. Starter kits come with four or eight cells, power packs with up to 16 plus adapters and a case.
If you own no charger yet, a kit is the shortest route: one box, the charger and a set of cells that are already charged. Kits are named by their charger, so the charger table on the home page tells you what the box will do: overnight on the CC17 and CC75, quick on the CC55 and CC65, eight slots on the CC63, USB power on the CC87.
Power packs add more cells and, in some boxes, C and D adapters and a storage case. Count what your devices take before you pick one. A box of 16 cells is good value only if 16 cells get used.
The cells in these boxes are the ones the eneloop line sells in packs, so a kit and a later pack match.

Do you get the same cells in an eneloop charger kit as in a pack sold alone?
Yes. The kit names the line and size of its cells, and they are the same eneloop or eneloop pro cells sold in packs. Each kit page lists what is in the box.
Which eneloop power pack gives you C and D adapters?
The CC17 power packs with 8 AA and 2 AAA, and with 12 AA and 4 AAA, include two C and two D adapters, and one pro box adds them too. The option list on each page names the contents.
